When the natural diet lacks salt, a minimum supplement may be recommended, especially in hot climates or in days of much physical effort accompanied by abundant perspiration (dehydration).

The sea salt of Janubio is highly appreciated in gastronomic circles for the cleanliness of its obtaining, without mixing of base lands, which are those that give that white color by pulling brown from the salt flats of southern Spain, while in sea salt Canary, for its cleanliness, dominates a white towards the bluish.
